Personal Information Protection Policy

ITC Consulting (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) in recognition of the importance of protecting personal information provided by clients/partners and, as such, the Company has established the following basic policy in order to implement the measures in compliance with the laws and ordinances in enforcement.

  1. 1. Management of Personal Information

    The Company has established a contact point within the company to appropriately handle inquiries relating to handling and disclosure of personal information as follows, which may be altered in the future, if the environment surrounding the Company necessitates.

  2. 2. Collection of Personal Information

    The Company shall collect personal information through appropriate and fair means.

  3. 3. Use of Personal Information

    The Company shall state, wherever possible, the aim of collecting the information, and collect the information accordingly, with the collected information only being used for the originally-stated purpose and not for any other purposes. In rare instance of using personal information beyond the stated purposes, the Company shall obtain prior consent for that use.

  4. 4. Purpose of Use

    Personal information received by the Company in the course of its business activities shall be used within the scope of the following purposes.

    1. Marketing activities pertaining to the consulting services in relation to the construction of towers as well as civil and building structural design.
    2. Communication pertaining to the research and development activities.
    3. Invitation to technical seminars and other events.
    4. General communication with invoicing, inquiries and other paperwork relating to each transaction.
    5. HR management and outsourcing.
  5. 5. The provision of personal information to a third-party

    The company shall not provide personal information to a third-party without the prior approval of the person. Personal information shall only be provided to a third-party if the person is provided with the details of the entity to which the information will be provided and the content of the information to be provided is specified and approval from the person accordingly obtained. However, personal information can be provided to a third-party, without the prior approval of the person, in the following cases:

    1. In accordance with laws and ordinances;
    2. If the information is necessary to save a life or in order to protect a person or assets, and it is difficult to get the prior approval of the person;
    3. If the information is necessary to improve public health or to facilitate the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to get the prior approval of the person;
    4. If cooperation is required for a national government body, or a local public agency, or an entity commissioned by such a body, to perform certain duties in accordance with laws and ordinances, and acquiring the prior approval of the person is deemed to have a detrimental effect on the execution of said duties of any of these bodies.
  6. 6. Secure Control of Personal Information

    The company has the appropriate safety measures in place to prevent and rectify any trouble occurring from the unauthorized access of, loss, destruction or damage to, and falsification and leakage of personal information.

  7. 7. Outsourcing Personal Information

    The Company may outsource part or all of its duties relating to the handling of personal information. In such case, the Company shall have the outsourced company maintain the same standard of personal information protection measures as practiced by the Company.

  8. 8. Disclosure of personal information, complaints and queries

    Inquiries and complaints relating to the handling, disclosure and so forth of personal information by the Company, should be sent to the Company using the appropriate form in “Contacts” page. The Company shall respond promptly, addressing the request within a rational sphere, including explanations of the procedural method.

  9. 9. Legal Compliance

    The Company shall comply with all laws and ordinances pertaining to the protection of personal information, and implement, maintain and continue to strive to revise and improve the approaches based on this Privacy Policy.
